TREETOP SAFARI

Our experienced tour guides will take you on an immersive elevated trail in Western Sydney’s tree canopy. Hike to the hum of cicadas, keeping your eyes peeled for local wildlife, set amongst the glittering views of the city skyline and breathtaking Blue Mountains. The TreeTop Safari is an opportunity to experience the distinctive mixture of Sydney’s urban setting and bush landscape like no other.

Your tour will take you over a series of easy bridges and soaring through the air on exhilarating zip lines, all the while soaking up the scenery and learning from your guides about the endangered environment that surrounds you.

As if the adrenaline rush from finishing your tour via the longest flying fox on mainland Australia (360m!) isn’t prize enough, you will receive a certificate of achievement and become a member of our Ambassador programme after a fun lesson of interpretative information on the natural environment and history of the area.

TreeTops is proud to be certified as Advanced Ecotourism. We encourage a sustainable relationship with the environment. At the start of your Safari tour you will be given a stainless steel bottle of water which is yours to take home and continue using, so you can keep helping the environment when the tour ends.

TreeTop Safari

What you need to know before arriving

There are no special skills or prior knowledge required, just bring along a sense of adventure and we will provide all the training and safety equipment you need to have an educational and exciting tour.

The tours can take up to two hours so make sure you wear comfortable clothes, fully enclosed shoes, tie back long hair, remove jewellery and apply sunscreen. Please check our Terms and Conditions for age, height and weight restrictions.

We are open in all weather conditions (except lightning and extreme high winds). For your enjoyment, group size is limited, it is highly recommended that you make a booking to avoid disappointment. Please be ready to start your tour at the booked time; and make sure you have completed your waiver form, gone to the toilet. During school holidays, public holidays and weekends more time may be required as all parks get particularly busy. For safety reasons you can’t carry anything with you on the course but there are lockers on site. When you are on the Safari absolutely nothing is allowed in your pockets or hands, this includes jewellery, phones, wallets, keys and cameras.

Participants must wear fully enclosed shoes (sporting shoes are recommended); no exposed skin from the ankle down (skin must be covered by shoes not socks). For example, participants will not be allowed to undertake the Activities in sandals, Mary-Jane’s, thongs, ballet flats, slip-off, toed shoes etc...

Accessibility

TreeTop Safari is accessible to people with a range of physical, sensory and mental abilities. Participants are required to be independently mobile (without the assistance of support workers or aids). Our professional team members provide expert advice for all visitors and safety requirements.

Park Closure

Western Sydney Parklands Plough & Harrow is closed for maintenance on Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th May.

During this time TreeTops Western Sydney will be closed to visitors. The park will reopen on Thursday 11th May.
